HOW TO TREAT DARK INNER THIGHS (INNER PART OF YOUR LEGS CLOSEST TO YOUR PUBIC AREA), BY YOURSELF.

Discoloration of the skin on the inner thighs is a common complaint and one that affects people of all ages. Dark skin between the thighs skin can develop in men and women due to variety of reasons. This could also be accompanied by inflammation, redness and pain. Most of the time however, dark inner thigh skin is more a cause of embarrassment than discomfort. If you do suffer from this condition, do not worry, as there are several natural and safe ways to lighten dark inner thigh skin.
Causes:
  • Obesity - If you are overweight, there is a tendency for your inner thighs to constantly rub against each other. This can cause discoloration of the skin and inflammation.
  • Friction - If you sweat excessively, wear tight, damp or synthetic clothes or are carrying a few extra pounds, the color of your inner thighs may darken due to friction.
  • Exposure to the sun - If you spend hours on the beach or outdoors and your thighs are exposed to the sun, it may result in the darkening of the skin tone.
  • Hormonal imbalance - Many women notice that their skin tends to darken around the time of their period.
  • Pregnancy - Hormonal changes and an increase in weight can lead to dark inner thighs during pregnancy
  • Medications - Certain medications such as oral contraceptive pills may lead to the darkening of the skin. If this is the case, ask your doctor for alternatives
  • Acanthosis Nigricans - This is a condition where the skin develops dark patches and becomes discolored. If the skin on your inner thighs does not lighten even after trying out various home remedies and medicated skin creams, consult your doctor or dermatologist to rule out the possibility of Acanthosis Nigricans
Treatment:
While there are a number of skin lightening products and cosmetics available in the market, most of these lotions, creams or bleaches tend to be expensive. More importantly, many contain harsh chemicals and ingredients that may damage the skin further if not used carefully. Instead, why not try out some safe home remedies for dark inner thighs such as:
  • Lemon is a natural bleaching agent for the skin. Simply cut a lemon into half and rub it on the skin of the inner thighs for about fifteen to twenty minutes. Rinse off and pat dry. Do this daily for the best results.
  • After applying the lemon juice to the skin, wash it off with a homemade sugar scrub. This works as a safe and gentle exfoliant and removes dead and darkened skin.
  • Massage the chafed areas with an aloe vera gel or vitamin E cream to help repair the skin and reduce inflammation.
  • Mix yoghurt and lemon juice into a thick paste. Apply this paste on to your inner thighs and leave it on for twenty minutes. Rinse off and pat dry.
  • To offset the drying effect of lemon, apply a thin layer of olive oil to the skin after a lemon juice treatment. Alternatively, mix lemon juice with olive oil and massage this solution to the skin on your inner thighs.
  • Potatoes are an excellent bleaching agent. Chill slices of potatoes and place them on the dark skin of the thighs. Leave for some time and wash the area with warm water.
  • Repeat this process often for fast results.
  • Make a paste of one teaspoon each of lemon juice, milk powder and honey. Mix a few drops of almond oil and rub this into the skin to lighten the color. This works well to lighten tanned skin as well.
  • Make a thick paste of oatmeal, yoghurt and lemon juice and apply it to the skin. Leave for an hour or until the skin pack dries up. This skin pack works as an exfoliant and bleaching agent and is a popular home remedy for dark and rough inner thigh skin.
How to Lighten Dark Inner Thighs
  • Reduce the friction between your thighs by losing weight.
  • Avoid tight clothing and synthetic materials as this could cause an allergic skin reaction and darken the sensitive skin on your inner thighs.
  • If you suffer from constant chafed inner thighs, try applying a layer of Vaseline or petroleum jelly on your thighs before you go out. This can help prevent discomfort caused by constant rubbing of the skin.
  • A generous dusting of talcum powder on the inner thighs can also help soak up extra perspiration and reduce friction.
  • For severe cases of darkened skin, your doctor may prescribe a hydroquinone cream. This acts as a skin-lightening agent and should you used as per instructions.
  • Keep your skin hydrated by drinking at least eight to ten glasses of water a day.
  • Include fresh fruits and vegetables into your daily diet. Brightly colored fruits and vegetables such as oranges, berries, and green leafy vegetables are rich in antioxidants that help reduce discoloration of the skin.
In case you are still dissatisfied with the results you could check with your doctor for other possible solutions.

2 DAYS AFTER POLISHING MY SKIN.

2 DAYS AFTER I STARTED POLISHING MY SKIN
Someone read my post on How Queen Cleopatra of Egypt slowed down her skin's aging process, using MILK AND HONEY. Remember that post? if u haven't read it, it's on this link: http://infovenue.blogspot.com/2013/03/how-queen-cleopatra-of-ancient-egypt.html

I received a phone call a few weeks after that post and i was told that there is a product in our own Nigerian market today, made by a Nigerian. This product contains MILK, HONEY, BROWN SUGAR, PEPPERMINT AND LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OILS. I was then educated on the fact that our skin renews itself every 28days and requires polishing and exfoliation for the removal of dead skin cells, hence this mix.

That was how i bought this 'polishing' product and used it. My picture above was taken 2 days after my first 'skin polish'. In short, i can't explain the brightness, softness and smoothness of my skin.

Well, as usual, i decided to share my experience via my blog.
The product is NATURAL (i confirmed it because i have a phobia for chemicals and bleaching creams).
The name is COUVREZ and IT IS CHEAP!!

WHAT THE COLOR OF YOUR TONGUE SAYS.

Look at the color of your tongue.
A healthy tongue should: Be pinkish in color
A dark red shade: Indicates inflammation
A brownish or black discoloration of the tongue is caused due of excess consumption of tobacco, gutka and paan.
A strawberry pink tongue could indicate the onset of scarlet fever or Kawasaki disease
A thick white coating could be due to the over secretion of bile in the liver and gall bladder.
When the tongue turns blue or purple, it's time to seek urgent medical help.
White patches can indicate a fungal infection or leukoplakia.

Look at the surface
A healthy person's tongue must be light pink and moist.
Lack of normal texture called a 'bald tongue' can occur due to deficiency of Vitamin B complex or Iron.
Patches or spots mean the person could be prone to allergies.
A dry tongue is a sign of stress, since the salivary glands are not functioning at optimum level.

HOW TO CLEAN A TOILET WITH COKE!

STEP 1

STEP 2

STEP 3

STEP 4

1. Pour Coke into the bowl. Pour it around the rim so it flows over the stains around the inside of the bowl.

2. Let it sit for at least an hour. The acids in the Coke will break down the stains. For extra cleaning power, let the Coke sit in the toilet overnight.

3. Optionally, clean the toilet with a brush. If there are lots of stubborn stains, you may need to use a brush to further loosen them before going to the next step.

4. Flush. At least some of the limescale buildup should be dissolved by the phosphoric acid in the Coke.

NOTE:
Try conventional natural toilet cleaners if problem persists. While Coke can remove some sludge and buildup caught in your toilet bowl, it's not the most effective cleaning agent. The sugar in the Coke can also leave the toilet bowl sticky and be a vector for other bacteria. Here are some other natural cleaning solutions that you can try.
  • Try mixing 1/2 cup vinegar and 1/4 cup baking soda (or 2 teaspoons borax) into 1/2 gallon (2 liters) jug of water. Store and apply to toilet bowl, scrubbing and waiting an hour before flushing.
  • To attack mold, try mixing one part hydrogen peroxide with two parts water in a spray bottle. Spray onto moldy surface, let wait at least one hour, and scrub until mold dissolves.
  • Try a mixture of two parts borax and one part lemon juice for another versatile cleaning agent. Apply to toilet bowl, let rest an hour, and scrub off deposits.
  • Since Coke has sugar (or high fructose corn syrup) in it, be sure to rinse the toilet afterwards. Bacteria love sweet stuff, and might be all over the Coke residue.
  • If you have roommates or a spouse, be sure to inform them about what you are doing. Otherwise, they may think you had some sort of "black thunder" diarrhea and failed to flush, and will flush it for you, thwarting your altruistic cleaning efforts.
